Wootini is an art gallery and shop located in the Triangle of North Carolina which collectively has a population of 1.2 million people. We exhibit art influenced by pop culture, illustration, comics, low brow, tattoo’s, unicorns, and rainbows to name a few topics. There are many names that this style of art is called, “Low Brow”, “Pop Surrealism”, or “Underground”, “Emerging Art” – we offer a venue to both regional and international artists to showcase their works in the South East Region.

Since 2003, Wootini has exhibited many artists. Wootini has produced a few art figures. Jermaine Roger’s “Dero” and “Squire”, Scott Musgrove’s “Glamour Cat”, and most recently Yahid Rodriguez’s “Nahualli”. We’ve also published a group art book called “This Side Up” which features ‘cardboard’ art from 56 artists from around the world, most of which are active members of the online rock-art community.

If you are inclined, you can visit us in person. Our brick-and-mortar store and gallery space are located in beautiful downtown Carrboro, NC. We are located on the side street directly across from the Cat’s Cradle.
